Last year's Advanced Engineering
Show at the NEC in November proved such a success, we
agreed to exhibit again this year. The show brings together the
ultimate in engineering, across a range of industries including
Aero Engineering, Composites Engineering, Performance Metals and of
course Automotive Engineering.
This year is the 4th Automotive Engineering
Show and represents the UK's only 100% dedicated show
and open conference for businesses involved in the manufacture of
components and systems for the automotive sector.
There will be representatives of businesses working with the
entire spectrum from body, chassis, powertrain to 'production'
supply chain engineering, supporting the UK's multiple vehicle
design, development, production & integration engineering
The exhibition is an opportunity for buyers to meet over 750
supply chain engineering businesses, from across all high
performance engineering sectors. Buyers can bring job specs and
obtain instant quotes with instant feedback from the people
undertaking the work; rare in this modern age.
A programme of industry-led free conference presentations offers
market and technology intelligence and insight from some of the
leading figures in OEMs and all tiers of the supply chain.
If you want to narrow the focus, I guess we are on the list of
'Components & sub-systems suppliers - covering: Auto Exterior
and Auto Interior' category, which given the nature of today's
modular manufacturing processes will be a big list.
The answer to the question "why exhibit?" is simple; we found
last year presented a valuable opportunity to be seen and show off
our skills to people who may not be aware of the part we play in
the creation of the end product, as it rolls off their production
In fact not long after conversations on our stand with
representatives from leading manufacturers, Toyota, Infinity and
McLaren Automotive, we were showing them around our production
facility in Leigh-on-Sea. This allowed us the opportunity to
demonstrate our high quality injection moulding capabilities,
alongside our renowned chrome-plating of
We are well aware that meeting and talking with manufacturers at
shows and even walking them round our factory is unlikely to lead
to a relationship directly with them. But, being able to
demonstrate our experience and the quality of our work helps put
our name on the 'reliable, high quality assembly manufacturers'
list and ensure we get discussed when global component assembly
producers that ultimately supply the car giants, seek new solutions
to old problems.
We're on stand H40 in Hall 5 so come along and say hello, we're
always pleased to talk injection moulding, chrome plating of
plastic and cars in general.
